Food facility inspection indicates evidence of insect activity in bar area. Observed 25 roach like insects at pest control monitoring devices at various locations.

4 – 602.13 Nonfood-Contact Surfaces
Accumulations of grease and old food debris are present at hard to reach areas under cook line and flat top grille.

2 – 101.11 Person in Charge, Assignment
The Food Facility Operator shall be the Person in Charge or shall designate a Person in Charge and shall ensure that a Person in Charge is present at the food facility during all hours of operation. The two employees present during the inspection told the inspectors that they were not in charge of the facility. The Food Facility operator was not present.

4 – 601.11(A) Equipment, Food Contact Surfaces, Nonfood Contact Surfaces and Utensils
Food contact surfaces (cutting surfaces, cooking utensils) were observed to have food residue and was not clean to sight and touch.

4 – 602.13 Nonfood-Contact Surfaces
Non-food contact surfaces (kitchen floor/wall behind cooking equipment, areas under warewashing sinks & bar areas) are not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation of cooking grease, food residue & dirt.

6 – 501.112 Removing Dead or Trapped Birds, Insects, Rodents and other Pests
Observed apparent cockroaches (more than 20) trapped in three pest control devices located in various locations at the bar area.
