Sheetz locations will be conducting on-the-spot interviews next week as the company tries to hire more than 2,500 employees across 6 states.
About 1,100 jobs are said to be up for grabs in Pennsylvania, according to a report by TribLive.
Sheetz operates two stores in Lebanon County, one at 194 Rocherty Road and another at 811 E. Main St in Palmyra. A third store lies just over the county-line in Dauphin County by Grantville. Interviews will take place from 8am to 8pm next Wednesday. Opportunities are available in the supervisor and team member roles.
Sheetz has repeatedly ranked on Fortune Magazine’s Top 100 places to work. Both part-time and full-time jobs are available.
According to the release, the benefits package at Sheetz for all employees includes medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, college tuition reimbursement, a stock ownership plan, quarterly bonuses, and vacation time.
(Editor’s Note: As part of the first generation of Cedar Crest students to realize Sheetz was a social destination, LebTown unequivocally endorses the Altoona-based company over its DelCo-based competitor, Wawa. With Turkey Hill now twice-removed from local ownership, our choice is clear. Now pass the Shmuffin, we’ve got work to do.)
