Bethel Township

Between June 9 at 6pm and June 11 at 12:49pm, cellphones were stolen from a vehicle parked on the 100 block of Elk Drive. Investigation ongoing. Two phones stolen worth combined ~$500.

City of Lebanon

Christopher Gonzalez-Suarez a 19 year old Lebanon resident has been charged with Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, Prohibited Offensive Weapons and Possession of Marijuana after an incident on 6-10-19 at 0320 hours on the 600 block of Chestnut Street. Gonzalez is accused of failing to leave a property after the owner of said property requested him to leave. Police were taking him into custody for causing a disturbance when police allege he resisted their efforts. While being apprehended police allege a homemade knife about 4.5 inches long fell from his pants. Police also allege he possessed marijuana. He was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Carl Garver. Gonzalez was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $10,000 bail. As a result of the same incident a 17 year old female was charged with Disorderly Conduct. Police allege the juvenile attempted to assist Gonzalez and interfered with police officers striking two officers. No one was injured as a result of this incident. The charges have been filed with the Lebanon County District Attorney’s Office.     

A charge of Simple Assault has been filed against a 15 year old female from Lebanon after being accused of assaulting 14 year old victim on 5-22-19 at 1845 hours on the 500 block of E. Scull Street.

A 19 year old Reading man and a 19 year old Lebanon woman have been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on 6-13-19 at 0100 hours on the 500 block of N. 12th Street.

Charges of Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana have been filed against Kevin McCarron II a 30 year old Harrisburg resident after investigation into a traffic accident on 4-08-19 at 2133 hours on the 00 block of Walnut Street. No one was injured as a result of the traffic accident. McCarron is accused of striking two parked vehicles with the vehicle he was operating.

A 56 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Harassment on 6-09-19 at 1456 hours on the 500 block of Cumberland Street.

William Lafty a 38 year old Lebanon resident has been charged with a violation of a Protection From Abuse Order on 6-14-19 at 0400 hours on the 900 block of Mifflin Street. Lafty is accused of having contact with the 38 year old victim, she was not injured as a result of the contact. Lafty was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Carl Garver. Lafty was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $5,000 bail.   

Cornwall Borough

Fugitive – Isaac Matos, no age listed, 328 N. 5th St., Lebanon, was taken into custody after he was stopped for a traffic violation Wednesday, 8:43 PM, on SR 72 at the Lancaster County line, and a warrants check revealed he was being south by the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Department on a domestic relations warrant.  He was transported to Central Booking.

Heidelberg Township

On June 11 at 6:15pm, PSP Jonestown Troopers responded to the above location for a two vehicle crash. Upon the Troopers arrival to the scene, visible indicators of impairment were observed upon Operator 1, who was not named in the release, and was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. Appropriate charges pending.

Myerstown Borough

This two-vehicle crash occurred as Unit 2 stopped for a red light south of the intersection of South College Street (SR 501 N) and West Richland Avenue facing north. Unit 1 was positioned behind Unit 2 approaching the red light. The light turned red and Unit 1 crashed into the back of Unit 2. At that time, the front of Unit 1 impacted the rear bumper of Unit 2. After impact, Unit 1 and Unit 2 were able to move their vehicles from the roadway. The 22 year old female driver of Unit 1 was charged with obedience to traffic-control devices.

North Cornwall Township

1700 BLK OF CENTER ST – LEBANON

Benjamin C. Tylwalk, 35, Lebanon was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession with intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia after police were called to assist another agency at a residence.

North Londonderry Township

On June 12 at 12:03pm a 41 year old Reading woman was stopped for a stop sign at Park Drive and Forge Road. A 51 year old Lancaster man was traveling south on Forge Road. The Reading woman proceed through the stop sign without clearance and struck the man’s vehicle. The woman’s vehicle was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported at the scene.

West Cornwall Township

Accident – Occurred Thursday, 5:50 AM, on SR 322 at Colebrook Road. Nieve E. Disla-Abreu, age 63, of Lebanon, was westbound on SR 322 and ran into the rear of a stopped vehicle driven by a 56 year old Lebanon woman. No injuries. Disla-Abreu’s vehicle was towed; he was cited for driving without a license.
