Here’s what’s happening around the Lebanon Valley this weekend:

Friday 6/21

8th Annual Broadway at the Barn Fundraiser – Take in a show and help out the Lebanon Community Theatre. Performances will take place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Friday and Saturday’s shows will begin at 7:30 while Sunday’s will start at 2:30. A wine and cheese social and silent auction will being one hour prior the performance.

Saturday 6/22

Michael H. Wise II Memorial Golf Outing at Fariview Golf Course – This annual golf outing benefits the Michael H. Wise II Memorial foundation and uses a four-person scramble format. A shotgun start will take place at 1pm and dinner will conclude the event.

Cherry Fair and Early American Craft Show – Music, demonstrations, and (you guessed it) cherries are just some of the draws at this historic event in Schaefferstown, which dates back to the 1700’s.

GM4K Ahn Trio – A 50 minute concert for kids and their adults! 11am at the Mt. Gretna Playhouse.

A Quest for Freedom – contemporary mashup of adapted contemporary music and dance. 7:30pm at the Mt. Gretna Playhouse.

Bellegrove Fire Company Saturday Night Carnival – Huey’s french fries, funnel cakes, lemonade, and the Youngers performing! Food starts at 4:30pm.

Sunday 6/23

Public Skating at Klick-Lewis Arena – What better way to beat the summer heat than by going ice skating? Klick-Lewis Arena is offering public skating today and every day (except 7/4) throughout the summer. Admission is $6 for skaters age 11 and up, and $3 for skaters age 10 and under. Skate Rental is $2.

Car Show at The Wetlands – From 12-4pm checkout this car show at The Wetlands restaurant at Pine Meadows Golf Course.

  1. One of things I miss most from the ‘years ago’ LDNews is the daily listing of the local baseball games to be played that day. They included Legion games, 16-18 age group, Jr. Legion, 13-15 age group, and Little League games 8-12 year olds. Sure would be nice to support those young athletes if I knew when and where they played.
