If you hear some loud booms later this month, and it’s not the 4th anymore, worry not: It’s just the Gap.
Fort Indiantown Gap is the only live-fire, maneuver military facility in Pennsylvania, and the training ground will be active later this month.
Demolitions training will be held July 11 and July 24-27. Mortar training will be conducted July 15-16. Bradley fighting vehicle live-fire training will be conducted July 15-17.
Trainings will occur between 8am and 11pm.
