Bethel Township

At the 00 block of Geesaman Park Lane between July 21 at 11pm and July 22 at 11am, an unknown actor(s) entered the victim’s vehicle, a 1995 Oldsmobile, and took a red in color suitcase and a 20″ flat screen TV. The actor(s) then fled the scene in an unknown direction by unknown means. Anyone with information regarding this theft is asked to call PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194.

In the commission of this crime on August 2 at 11:28pm, Tonya Shipley, a 33 year old Ephrata woman, was stopped for a traffic violation while driving a 2006 Nissan. During the commission of the stop, the odor of marijuana was detected from the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted in which a marijuana pipe and brass knuckles were seized from the woman’s purse. The passenger, Terry Bedleyoung, a 42 year old Lebanon man, was found to have an active full extradition PA State Parole warrant. He was taken in to custody for the warrant. During a search incident to arresting the man he was found in possession of two Vynase capsules. He was transported to PSP Jonestown where he was taken into custody by agents from State Parole. The charges of Possession of Prohibited Offensive Weapons, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and summary traffic violations were filed on the woman. Charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia were filed on the man.

On August 3 at 1:45pm, Unit 1, a 2009 Victory Motorcycle, and Unit 2, a 2006 Pontiac G6, were traveling south on I-81. Operator #1 lost control of his motorcycle on the wet road and laid his motorcycle down in the left lane of travel. Operator #2, in an attempt to avoid collision with Unit #1, took evasive maneuvers and steered Unit #2 into the center grass median. There was minor damage to both units, and no injuries.

North Cornwall Township

Friday, 08/02/2019 22:20 Turkey Hill, East Penn Avenue, a traffic stop for a faulty headlight; a passenger, 17 YOA female juvenile was cited for underage drinking.

Kohl’s, Quentin Road, on Saturday, 08-03-2019 21:18 A woman was cited for Retail Theft after she removed merchandise valued at $64.99 without paying.

Sunday, 08-04-2019 16:18 A 56 year old Lebanon woman was charged with Retail Theft for taking clothing and perfume valued at $166.00 from Kohl’s and failed to pay for the merchandise.

Wednesday, 07/31/2019 20:06 Ebersole Back Lot, A 36 year old Lebanon woman was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Failure to notify a change of address after it was reported she drove a vehicle from the lot to test drive and did not return to the dealership with the car.

North Lebanon Township

Emmanuel Ayendez, age 22, no address, was charged with receiving stolen property after found in possession of a stolen 1998 Toyota Camry which had been reported stolen from Muhlenberg Township, Berks County. This incident occurred on August 1, at approximately 5:00am when a North Lebanon officer stopped the vehicle at Route 422 and Prescott Drive. The vehicle was occupied by 6 male subjects. The occupants ran from the scene and officers from North Lebanon Township and surrounding police departments gave chase. Five of the occupants were apprehended. Two juvenile subjects were turned over to Lebanon County juvenile probation and 2 were released to family members pending charges. This investigation is continuing in conjunction with Berks County authorities.

North Londonderry Township

On July 31 at 11:46pm, police arrested Ronald Vanwhy, a 38 year old Palmyra man, after responding to his residence for a domestic dispute. He was charged with physically assaulting a 37 year old female on the 1100 block of S. Green Street in Palmyra. He was charged with Strangulation, Simple Assault, and Harassment. He was taken to Central Booking for arraignment.
