A 30 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Harassment after an incident on 1-22-20 at 2304 hours on the 300 block of N. 11th Street.

George Serrano a 52 year old Lebanon resident has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related) after an incident on 1-28-20 at 0600 hours on the 400 block of N. 2nd Street. Serrano is accused of kicking and slapping the 13 year old victim then, using a belt, he is accused of striking him with a belt across both harms. The victim did have injuries as a result of the assault. Serrano was apprehended and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ Maria Dissinger. He was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Charges of Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats and Possessing Instruments of Crime have been filed against Joel Tirado a 19 year old Lebanon resident after being accused of threating the 27 year old victim with a knife saying he would stab her. This incident occurred on 1-29-20 at 1600 hours on the 1100 block of Willow Street. No one was injured during this incident.

Charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against a 17 year old male from Lebanon after contact with police on 1-13-20 at 0930 hours on the 00 block of N. 9th Street. The charges have been forwarded to the Lebanon County District Attorney’s Office. 

A 16 year old male from Lebanon has been charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle or Property, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Drivers Required to be Licensed after an incident on 1-29-20 at 2123 hours on the 1300 block of Lafayette Street. The juvenile is accused of operating a stolen vehicle and fleeing the scene of one traffic accident. He was involved in a second traffic accident and attempted to flee on foot but was prevented from doing so by several witnesses. When taken into custody police accuse him of possessing marijuana. The juvenile was transferred to the custody of Lebanon County Juvenile Probation and detained.  

A 54 year old Jonestown man has been cited for Harassment on 1-27-20 at 1435 hours on the 00 block of East Chestnut Street. 

North Londonderry Township

On Jan. 14 at 6:54 p.m. police investigated an accident at the intersection of Elm St and Campbelltown Rd. During the investigation, Greg Laudermilch, a 63-year-old Palmyra man, was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Laudermilch’s blood results showed a BAC of .17%. He was charged with DUI and Careless Driving. Charges filed with DJ Garver’s office.

On Feb. 1 at 12:09 p.m., police responded to an accident at the intersection of E Main St and Apple Blossom Ln. An 86-year-old Palmyra man’s vehicle was initiating a left turn when a 38-year-old Grantville man’s vehicle struck the older man’s vehicle, pushing both vehicle’s into a 59-year-old Palmyra man’s vehicle. The older man was cited with a left turning violation. The Grantville man was cited for not securing a 10-year-old in a safety seat belt. The older man’s vehicle required towing by Zimmies Automotive. The Grantville man’s vehicle was towed by Doug’s Towing.

South Londonderry Township

On Dec. 18 and Dec. 19, 2019, Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Department saw an unauthorized person dumping trash into their dumpster. After a police investigation, it was learned that a 50-year-old Palmyra man was the person who placed his trash in the dumpster on the property of the Fire Department. He was charged with Theft of Services.

On Jan. 7 at 5:33 p.m., a vehicle operated by a 34-year-old Palmyra woman was heading westbound on Mt. Gretna Road when she lost control of her vehicle due to snowy, slippery conditions and struck the vehicle of a 35-year-old Newmanstown man who was heading eastbound on Mt. Gretna Road. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

On Jan. 11 at 1:25 a.m., the South Londonderry Township Police Department was dispatched to the 2000 block of S. Forge Rd. for the report of a single vehicle accident. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the driver, a 56-year-old Annville woman, reportedly swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway, causing the vehicle to leave the road. The vehicle struck a fence and came to rest in a ditch. The vehicle was later removed by tow.

A 33-year-old Lebanon woman, a 23-year old Palmyra woman, and a 36-year-old Palmyra woman failed to return property borrowed from the Palmyra Public Library by the due date. Letters were sent to their addresses and they failed to respond. On Jan. 28, South Londonderry Township Police then filed citations for Retention of Library Property against the persons for not returning the property to the library.

On Friday, Jan. 31, South Londonderry Township Police were patroling the area of “Klick Lewis, On The Ice” arena as the Palmyra vs. Hershey hockey game ended. At this time several people were found being disorderly. Police approached Nicholas Oyola, an 18-year-old Hummelstown man, after he failed to obey requests to stop being disorderly. He provided a false name and information to Police. He was charged for False ID to Law Enforcement, Disorderly Conduct, and Underage Drinking. Three other male juveniles, also from the Hershey area, were charged with Underage Drinking.
