Lebanon City Police announced Friday, May 1, that a deceased male was discovered under the bridged portion of the diner building located at 1352 Cumberland Street.

The male was discovered around 1:25 p.m. Friday afternoon by a person walking in the vicinity, according to the police release.

No identification was found on the body and there was no evidence that immediately pointed to a cause of death. The male was said to be approximately 5’7″, 18-30 years old, with a thin build and possibly Black or Hispanic with a lighter skin tone.

The diner, which is not currently in operation, has held multiple names over the years, including Marabelle’s, Horn & Horn, and Pushnik’s.

Police said that the investigation is ongoing and no other details on the male will be released at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call Lebanon City Police at 717-272-2054 or Crime Stoppers at 717-270-9800.
