Bethel Township

Theft – On Aug. 1, 2020 at approximately 10:09 a.m., PSP Jonestown responded to the 100 block of Locust Ave. for a report of a theft involving a firearm. PSP is investigating.

Harassment – In the commission of this crime, both Victims engaged in a physical altercation with each other on Legionaire Dr. on July 31, 2020 at 9:18 p.m. The Victims were a 47 year old Lebanon woman and a 57 year old Lebanon man.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle Accident – On July 31, 2020 at 12:17 a.m., this crash occurred at Michters Rd. as Unit 1, a 2014 Dodge Dart, driven by Operator 1, a 28 year old Ephrata man, was traveling southbound on Michters Rd. Operator 1 fell asleep, crossing over the painted double yellow lines and entering the northbound lane of travel. Unit 1 subsequently struck a utility pole on the left side of the roadway with its left front portion before coming to final rest in the front yard of a residence on the 100 block of Michters Rd. Operator 1 was transported to the Hershey Medical Center with suspected minor injuries. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by CJ Wagner’s. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Schaefferstown Ambulance, Schaefferstown Fire Department, and other members of PSP Jonestown.

Lebanon City

Drug Possession – On Aug. 1, 2020 at 12:41 a.m., PSP Jonestown stopped a 2001 BMW for a traffic violation on North 3rd St. and Lehman St. Upon further investigation, it was determined Passenger 1, a 26 year old Lebanon City man, was in possession of marijuana. Charges are pending.

Drug Possession – On Aug. 1, 2020 at 1:47 a.m., PSP Jonestown stopped a 2000 Subaru for a traffic violation on North Locust St. and West Jackson Ave. Upon further investigation, it was determined Operator 1, a 53 year old Minersville Borough man, was in possession of marijuana. Charges are pending.

Myerstown Borough

Firearm Purchase – On March 21, 2020 at 4:31 p.m., this incident occurred as the Suspect attempted to purchase a firearm on East Main Ave. and was denied the purchase through PICS. No charges are filed at this time.

North Cornwall Township

Vehicle Accident – On July 29, 2020 at 4:45 p.m., this crash occurred on Isabel Dr. Operator 1, an 18 year old Lebanon resident, struck Operator 2, a 37 year old Elizabethtown resident, as Operator 1 was pulling out of a private drive at the rear of the church. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Both Units were able to be driven away.

Vehicle Accident – On July 29, 2020 at 12:09 p.m., this crash occurred with injuries in front of MOD Pizza, located on Quentin Rd. Operator 1, a 26 year old Lebanon resident, said he was driving southbound on Quentin Rd. when Operator 2, a 25 year old Lebanon resident, attempted to cross Quentin Rd. from Tuck St. in front of him, striking his Unit. Operator 2 said she was attempting to cross Quentin Rd. from Tuck St. into the MOD Pizza parking lot and did not see any vehicle traveling south. Passenger 1 complained of knee pain and was transported by Central Medical to GSH/WellSpan Hospital. One of the Units was towed from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – On July 29, 2020 at 4:13 p.m., this crash occurred at the intersection of Wilhelm Ave. and Cornwall Rd. Operator 1, a 24 year old Lebanon resident, was waiting on Wilhelm Ave. to turn onto Cornwall Rd. Operator 2, a Richland female juvenile, was waiting behind. Operator 1 began to pull forward, slightly, before stopped when Operator 2 struck the rear of the vehicle. Both Units sustained minor damage. Both Units were able to be driven away. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash.

South Londonderry Township

Disorderly Conduct – On July 11, 2020 at 10:25 p.m., two 20 year old Palmyra men were charged with Disorderly Conduct following a suspicious vehicle call on the trail head on Mt. Wilson Rd. at Mt. Gretna Rd.

Swatara Township

Criminal Trespass – On July 30, 2020 at approximately 9:50 a.m., PSP Jonestown responded to the 00 block of Fairway Dr. for a report of suspicious persons. PSP is investigating.

Tremont Township

Vehicle Accident – On July 30, 2020 at 1:31 a.m., this crash occurred on I 81 North near mile marker 103.4 as Unit 1, a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser, driven by Operator 1, a 30 year old Mt. Carmel woman, was traveling north in the right lane. Operator 1 fell asleep and Unit 1 exited the right side of the roadway, striking an adjacent guide rail. Unit 1 then bounced off the guide rail and reentered the roadway, striking the right front portion of Unit 2, a 2016 Freightliner, driven by Operator 2, a 60 year old New Cumberland man, which was in the left lane. Unit 1 then came to rest in the right lane of travel while Unit 2 pulled off the left side of the roadway. There were no injuries as a result of this crash.

Union Township

Harassment – On July 29, 2020 at 11:07 p.m., troopers responded to the 3,000 block of SR 72 for a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, it was discovered a verbal argument turned into a physical altercation. Superficial marks were observed on each individual. Neither individual was injured. The Arrestees were a 32 year old Jonestown woman and a 54 year old Jonestown woman. Charges are pending.

Drug Possession – On July 29, 2020 at 12:49 p.m., this crime occurred on SR 72 and Pine Tree Rd. involving a 2017 Audi A4. In the commission of this crime, the Suspect was in possession of a controlled substance.

Resisting Arrest – On July 30, 2020 at approximately 10:21 a.m., PSP Jonestown was dispatched to the 00 block of Fisher Ave. at the Fairfield Inn for a report of Antonio Caniglia, a 34 year old Willoughby Hill, OH man, causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the hotel property. Caniglia threw a television and other hotel items out of his window from the third floor. Caniglia resisted arrest. Caniglia was taken into custody without being injured. The damaged property included a LGTV model: 43LX34OH-UA valued at $413.00, a TimeX alarm clock valued at $30.00, a window screen valued at $50.00, a hinge bolt lock valued at $50.00, and a door valued at $500.00.
