LebTown is featuring a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
This week’s pet is Madison, owned by Linda Deimler.
Madison is a nine year old Hope dog (Hounds of Prison Education). Found in a bad situation in Harrisburg, Madison made her way into the Hope program and lived with a handler 24/7 at SCI Camp Hill for two and a half years.
“She knows a practically endless amount of commands and tricks,” said Deimler. “She is very dog treat motivated, blueberry dog treats being her favorite.”
Madison is extremely friendly, fun loving, and adoring to her people. Some of her favorite activities include being outside, laying on laps, and meeting new people – and her absolute favorite thing is going for a car ride to shop at Lowe’s, because she gets treats and endless attention from the staff and customers there.
Deimler adopted Madison in 2015 just before her fifth birthday after seeing a photo on Facebook. To find your own Hope dog, check out the Hounds of Prison Education Facebook page here!
