Cedar Crest High School (CCHS) is staging “The Addams Family Quarantined: Dramatic Concert,” a 90-minute one-act musical featuring the horror-comedy family of “The Addams Family” franchise, in three showings this weekend.

The showtimes are Friday, March 5 at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 6 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 7 at 2:30 p.m. There are no intermissions. Patrons have the option of purchasing in-house tickets ($12, $10 for senior citizens) or live-stream passes ($12 for each pass, $40 for a family pass of four or more people, and $60 for a group of six or more people).

Tickets may be purchased online here.

The limited seating at the school’s auditorium at 115 East Evergreen Road in Lebanon is general admission and assigned on arrival in accordance of COVID-19 distancing protocols. Facial coverings are required at all times. Private live-streaming rooms for up to 15 people are also available inside the school.

The story centers on daughter Wednesday Addams, who has fallen in love with a kind-hearted young man that her parents, Gomez and Morticia, have never met. As described in CCHS’s press release:

“Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before — keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s ‘normal’ boyfriend and his parents.”

The CCHS production will star Ryan Horst as Gomez Addams, Lindsay Rogoze as Morticia Addams, and Lizzy Pederson as Wednesday Addams, in addition to featuring numerous other characters from the household such as Uncle Fester, Grandma Addams, and Lurch. The musical is based on a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Andrew Lippa.

A dress rehearsal will be staged on Thursday, March 4 at 6 p.m. Cornwall-Lebanon School District residents age 65 and older and CLSD Lifetime Pass holders are invited to request a free ticket to this in-person rehearsal. Seating is limited to the reservations of the first 80 people. Tickets for this rehearsal may be requested by calling (717) 272-2036 or by emailing awissinger@clsd.k12.pa.us with a name and phone number. A confirmation message will be sent within 72 hours.

Additionally, a raffle prize of over $600 in gift cards is being put up. Raffle tickets are $20 and available as an option when ordering online, and proceeds go towards the CCHS Musical.
