The Palmyra Community Pool, 112 Park Drive, will host a community yard sale in its parking lot on Saturday, Apr. 17, from 8 a.m. until noon.
Setup for vendors will start at 7 a.m. Two parking spaces for $10 may be reserved by calling 717-838-9237. Rain date is Apr. 24.
With the pool closed for COVID last summer, the pool board used the down time to freshen it up. All three pools (wading pool, L-shaped main pool, and six-lane competition pool) were power washed down to bare concrete, then repainted. Some new furniture has been added, and the grounds have received an all-around spruce up.
Pool secretary Susan Williams told LebTown that she anticipates a Memorial Day weekend opening.
Annual family memberships for Palmyra Area School District residents are $300, and $350 for families outside the district. Individual memberships are $175 and $200, respectively.
Seniors 60 years and over, resident or not, can join for $100.
Members enjoy exclusive pool time daily from 11 a.m. to noon throughout the season.
Day passes for adult non-members are $7 for school district residents and $12 for non-residents.
