A BBQ that was set for May 8 to benefit Compeer Corps of Lebanon County, which reaches out to military veterans and helps supports their mental health recovery, has been cancelled, due to circumstances outside of Compeer’s control.
The event was scheduled to take place in Christman’s Funeral Home parking lot and Hresko’s BBQ Pit food truck was going to provide food.
“We thank Greg Vaitl and his staff at Christman’s for their much-appreciated support”, said Compeer spokesperson Julie Baum. “Greg understands that the situation and has generously provided financial assistance to Compeer to offset the change in plans.”
Those who purchased tickets for the event should contact Compeer Corps at 717-272-8317 for a full refund. Compeer apologizes for the inconvenience.
