Tuesday, May 11, the ELCO Education Foundation will host a forum for the candidates running for school board positions in the upcoming May 18 election.
The event will be held from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. and may be viewed through the ELCO school district’s YouTube channel or the ELCO Education Foundation’s Facebook page. The ELCO Education Foundation, according to its webpage, is a nonprofit corporation organized in 1993 “exclusively for charitable and educational purposes to benefit the Eastern Lebanon County School District[.]”
According to an April 28 Facebook post, at least six of the eight candidates running for the school board have agreed to participate. They include: Denise Thomas, Kiya Emerich, Tracy Hayes, Dave Noyes, Audrey Perry, and Tom Ferrari; all six of these have cross-filed to appear on the ballot. Four positions will be elected May 18.
