The Lebanon County Builders Association (LCBA), along with the Castlerigg Wine Shop, the Rotunda Brewing Company, and the King Cole Winery, hosted the 2021 Spring Fling Food Festival. The event was coordinated by Ashley Fickel and Sierra Gettle.

The rain-or-shine festival occurred on May 21 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and May 22 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. More than 75 vendors met at the Fredericksburg Firemans Park, located at 2652 South Pine Grove St. in Jonestown, for the festival.
The two-day festival featured live music, vendors, market shopping, food trucks, alcohol sampling, kids activities, among others.
Children ages 12 and under were able to attend the event for free. Tickets for both days for non-drinkers and for those between the ages of 13 and 20 were $10. For adult tasters, pre-sale tickets for one day were $20 and for both days were $35. Tickets were higher in price at the door.
Some of the food vendors at the event were Bubble Wow Waffles, Castaneda Mexican Restaurant, Cheezy Grill, Crazy Horse Beef Jerky, Farm Show Milkshakes, Le’s Cupcakes, Mr. Y’s Shaved Ice, Reign & Taij’s Homemade Lemonade, Shorty’s Funnel Cakes, Sweet G’s Bakery, The Chubby Unicorn, The Dip Lady, The Rolling Mac A-Roni, Trish’s Treats LLC, and Uncle Paul’s Stuffed Pretzels.
The alcohol sampling schedule ran from May 21 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and May 22 from 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Alcohol vendors at the festival included Bouchette Vineyards, Boyd’s Cardinal Hollow Winery, Castlerigg Wine Shop, Firehouse Winery, Hazard’s Distillery, Hook & Flask Still Works, J & P Winery, King Cole Winery, Mount Gretna Craft Brewery, Rebel Hive Meadery, Rotunda Brewing Company, and Tattered Flag Brewery & Still Works.
Some of the crafters in attendance were Bachman Woodworks, Bevverage Gear, Bomb Party, Bricks & Broomsticks, Bunnybee Creations, Charming Balloons, Coconut Bay Aromas, Daydreamer & Co, Farm To Pallet, Healthy Suds LLC, J Renninger Metal Works, Julie Chesney – Color Street, Leah’s Quilts + More, Mary’s Treasures LLC, Morrows Woodworking, Mountain Momma Soap, Our Crafty Ways, Paparazzi By Tricia, Park Lane Jewelry, Pink Zebra, Sow & Sew, Tastefully Simple, The Crafting Kitties, The Greenery Of Morgantown, Thrive By Le-Vel, Treatsbychop, and 4MYTWO.
In terms of live music, DMC Duo performed on May 21 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Nate Myers & the Aces continued the night’s music from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. On May 22, Jeff Krick performed as Elvis at 11:30 a.m. Stu Huggens & Jimmy Landis started at 12:45 p.m. Bryan Stevenson started at 2 p.m. DMC performed again at 3:15 p.m. Nineties Entertainment System ushered the festival into the night, starting at 4:30 p.m. Rubix Kube: The Galaxy’s Most Original 80s Cover Band continued the music into the night, starting at 6:30 p.m.
