On the morning of June 4, 2021, three employees of Waste In Time Disposal Service were in a vehicle accident around State Dr. in South Lebanon Twp. Two of these three employees are in critical but stable condition.

The owners of Waste In Time Disposal Service, Julie and Sean Welling, have created a GoFundMe to support these two employees and their families.

According to the GoFundMe, “the trash truck they were in ended up off [of] the road, and the truck rolled three times. One employee was ejected from the trash truck, and the truck rolled over him. There was entrapment and [the need for] assistance from fire rescue to get out of the truck.”

The two employees were transported to the Hershey Medical Center by ambulance and Life Lion for further treatment. These employees sustained severe and extensive injuries as a result of this accident. The first few of many surgeries in their road to recovery were performed within their first few hours at the hospital.

The GoFundMe has raised more than $11,000 of their $500,000 goal in the three days following its launch. The money that is raised will be split evenly between the two employees.

As of the time of this article’s publication, the South Lebanon Twp. police have made no public statements regarding the accident.
