Isaac’s Brewhouse will join a mix of businesses at North Cornwall Commons, including Ancestor Coffeehouse & Creperie and Premier Nails, in a building at 119 Springwood Drive in Lebanon.

Mike Weaver, Isaac’s president & CEO, said the 4,300-square-foot restaurant will be the first Isaac’s in Lebanon County. Plans for the restaurant are still being finalized, so he could not provide details about seating capacity, but he did indicate that it will have an outdoor dining area.

He said Isaac’s will unveil a new look and logo, which will debut with the North Cornwall Commons brewhouse. The restaurant is expected to open sometime between Nov. 1 and Jan. 31.

Isaac’s has 13 locations in Lancaster, York and Berks counties as well as the Harrisburg area. Weaver said a restaurant in Lebanon County is a natural extension for Isaac’s.

“We have restaurants in Ephrata and Lititz, so it’s a natural progression to head toward Lebanon County, which continues to grow,” he explained. “The North Cornwall Commons location is a great fit for us. It’s a great location near the new Fairfield by Marriott hotel and residential housing, and it’s in close proximity to the Lebanon Valley Exposition Center & Fairgrounds.”

Isaac’s downtown Lancaster and Mechanicsburg locations are also Isaac’s Brewhouses. Weaver said craft beers are brewed at the Lancaster site, which re-opened as a brewhouse in August 2020.

Like Lancaster, the North Cornwall Commons restaurant will have an area designated for an onsite brewery.

“Out of the gate, we’ve made some great craft beer in Lancaster, and we’ll use that knowledge to produce craft beer in the Lebanon location,” he said.

Established in downtown Lancaster in 1983, Isaac’s is known for its signature grilled sandwiches named after birds (and flowers for vegetarian selections), made-from-scratch soups and fresh green salads. The restaurant’s menu has evolved to include starters such as cheese curds, fries, fried pickle chips, onion rings and wings.

Weaver said although the menu has changed since Isaac’s was established, the restaurant’s commitment to making the best made-to-order sandwiches (and soups, salads and other menu items) out of the freshest ingredients has not.

Larry Kostelac III, senior vice president at Campbell Commercial Real Estate, the leasing agent for North Cornwall Commons retail space, said Vilano Studio Hair Salon will also open at 119 Springwood Drive.
