Business owner Pam Shirk named Main Street manager for Lebanon’s downtown

The Lebanon Foundation announced local business owner Pam Shirk as the Main Street manager for Downtown Lebanon.

The Downtown Lebanon Main Street office serves as an informational center for business planning, available properties, and governmental processes in the city of Lebanon.

In her new role, Shirk will assist in revitalizing downtown Lebanon, filling vacant buildings, and promoting local businesses. One such promotion is Lebanon Restaurant Week, which will run August 14 to 21.

Shirk graduated from the Leadership Lebanon Valley Program, a Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce program dedicated to building leadership skills and knowledge about the Lebanon Valley in its participants.

Shirk is the former owner of three Edible Arrangements stores in Lebanon, Lititz and Lancaster. She is also the former owner of downtown Lebanon coffeeshop Wrinkle & Boon, which she sold last year.

Lebanon native Shirk has served on the Community of Lebanon Association Board of Directors and the Lebanon Foundation Board. She has been involved in planning various downtown Lebanon events and served on downtown revitalization committees.

“I really love our community and I want to do what I can to help it succeed,” said Shirk.
