Visit Lebanon Valley is moving its offices to a new location.

The destination marketing agency, a nonprofit organization that encourages travel to the area by promoting the region’s attractions and local businesses, attempts to strengthen the Lebanon Valley’s economy through tourism.

For the past six years, VLV has been housed at the Lebanon Farmers Market, 35 S. 8th St.

On Thursday, Sept. 9, the VLV staff is shifting operations to 835 Cumberland St., taking an office with the Emmily Longenecker Team at Iron Valley Real Estate.

“We are looking forward to the move for better visibility,” VLV president Jennifer Kuzo said in a press release. She said the agency’s bovine mascot, Lebanon Lilly, will make an appearance in the storefront window next month. The statue made the moove down Cumberland Street last week, as seen in a Facebook post by VLV.

Otherwise, according to the release, VLV will continue its business as usual.
