The 8th Street Music and Art Festival “celebrates the best of what Lebanon has to offer,” organizers say.
The festival returns to Lebanon from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 on S. 8th Street, between Cumberland and Chestnut streets.
The event, hosted by the Community of Lebanon Association and UPMC Health Plan, features local music and vendors. New to the festival this year, local artists will also have an opportunity to showcase their work.
Food and a beer garden will be open for refreshments. The festival is touted as “entertaining for the entire family,” although patrons must be 21 to enter the beer garden.
In previous years, organizers note, “the festival has welcomed thousands of guests to our great city.”
Music includes Vertigo Vibe from noon to 1 p.m., The Mendez Brothers from 1:20 to 2:20 p.m., Michael Kitchen & Friends from 2:40 to 3:40 p.m., Spiked Cherry’s from 4 to 5 p.m., and Cheyenne from 5:20 to 6:20 p.m.
Solo artists Alex Stanilla and Luther Tyree will perform on the side stage between main acts to provide continuous entertainment.
