Car enthusiasts may want to head out to Keller Bros. Ford Saturday for a car show.

The free event, which will feature a variety of vehicles, will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. at the dealership, 1030 Shaeffer Road, Lebanon.

Jeremy Weaver, Keller Bros. Ford-Lebanon general manager, said the car show is part of the family-owned dealership’s 100th anniversary celebration. Another celebration event that included fireworks was held about two months ago to introduce the new Ford Bronco.

“We have a lot of car enthusiasts at the dealership. They wanted to host a car show this year, and we decided it would be a great fit with our 100th anniversary celebration — we’re the original Keller Bros. location,” he explained.

Keller Bros. has a pre-owned location at 2300 Cumberland St., Lebanon, a Ford dealership in Lititz at 730 S. Broad St. (Route 501), and a Dodge dealership at 395 N. Broad St. (Route 501), Lititz.

Although Keller Bros.-Lebanon is a Ford dealership, the car show is open to all makes and models. It will also feature food trucks and door prizes.

There is no registration fee to show vehicles and the first 100 registrants will receive a commemorative item for participating in the event. Awards will be presented in a variety of categories.

Pre-registration is available online. Registration will also be available on-site from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. So far, 33 cars are pre-registered for the event. More information is available on Keller Bros.-Lebanon’s Facebook page.

According to the history posted on the dealership’s website, Keller Bros. first opened its doors in 1921 on the front lawn of the late Mark Keller’s family home in Buffalo Springs, Lebanon County. With the help of Mark Keller’s brothers, a garage was opened.

As the demand grew, they needed additional space. In 1930, a new Ford facility was constructed exactly where it remains today. Keller Bros.-Lititz opened in 1940 when the family purchased the dealership from a Lancaster County competitor. Keller Bros.-Dodge was acquired from another dealer in 2006.

Dan Keller, Mike Keller’s grandson, serves as president of Keller Bros. family of dealerships. He and his wife, Suzy, are owners of the dealerships, and their daughter, Danielle Gochenauer, is general sales manager at Keller Bros.-Lebanon.
