Water conservation goes hand in hand with craft beers at the Swatara Sip N Stroll, which will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Swatara Watershed Park, 1929 Blacks Bridge Road, Annville.
The event offers plenty of options for enjoying the 33-acre park, including a walk among new tree plantings, a game of volleyball, music and water sports.
Patrons are encourage to bring their own lawn chairs. Rain date is Sunday, Sept. 26.
Breweries on hand will include Mount Gretna Craft Brewery, Rotunda Brewing Co., Snitz Creek Brewery, Troegs Independent Brewing and Under the Bridge Cider – all of which, according to the release, use water from the Swatara watershed to make their products. Food trucks will include Cheezy Grill and Seltzer’s Lebanon Bologna.
Nonprofit organizations are invited to set up a table to share information about their mission. For example, patrons can learn about the Lebanon County First Responder Memorial.

Sponsors include Lebanon Water Authority, Cleona Dental, PA American Water Co., First Citizens Community Bank, and the Swatara Watershed Association.
Swatara Watershed Park is maintained by the Swatara Water Trail, and funds raised will go towards Clean Water projects like maintaining the park, planting additional trees, conservation education, and supporting the Bordner Cabin.
Admission is $30 at the gate or $25 if purchased in advance through PayPal.
Valid identification required, and everyone will be carded to enter the pavilion where alcohol is served.
The price of admission will also include a water conservation kit (while supplies last), a styrene glass for sipping, a tote bag and a wristband. Souvenir shirts can be purchased from Bohring Designs.
Masks are not required, but patrons are asked to practice social distancing.
