Annville Township
DUI – On Nov. 6, 2021 at 11:30 p.m., this incident occurred on East Main St. and Saylor St. In the commission of this crime, the Suspect was operating a vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance. The Arrestee was an 18 year old Palmyra man. The vehicles involved included a 2008 Chevrolet.
Bethel Township
Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., this two-vehicle crash occurred on SR 343, north of Greble Rd. in Bethel Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 1988 Ford F-150XLT, driven by Operator 1, a 24 year old Lebanon man, was traveling north on SR 343, north of Greble Rd. Unit 2, a 2020 Honda FIT, driven by Operator 2, a 48 year old Fredericksburg woman, was traveling south on SR 343, north of Greble Rd. Unit 1 crossed over the center dividing line of SR 343 and sideswiped Unit 2. Unit 1 and Unit 2 suffered disabling damage and were towed from the scene. Operator 1 and Operator 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1 and Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.
Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 4, 2021 at 5:15 a.m., this crash occurred on SR 22 at its intersection with East Main St. This crash involved Unit 1, a 2003 Toyota Matrix, driven by Operator 1, a 22 year old Lebanon man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 23 year old Lebanon woman, and Unit 2, a 2016 Kia Sorento, driven by Operator 2, a 59 year old Fredericksburg man. Operator 1 and Passenger 1 were not wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 2 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash and was transported via Life Lion EMS to the Good Samaritan Hospital. Passenger 1 sustained possible injuries as a result of this crash but was not transported. Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.
Burglary Commercial Force – On Oct. 10, 2021 at 8:05 p.m., troopers responded to Lions Dr. for a report of an active burglary. Troopers arrived on scene and detained multiple juveniles suspected of the burglary. Troopers are investigating. The Victim was a 51 year old Jonestown woman. The damaged property included a Damaged Chair, Interior Doors, Steel Exterior Door, Graffiti On Interior Walls, 1 Gallon Metal Paint Bucket Open, and a Medical Bag.
Human Trafficking Involving Servitude – On Nov. 7, 2021 at 1:27 p.m., PSP Jonestown conducted a traffic stop on a 2008 Nissan Armada bearing AZ temporary tag 77A4ND. During the initial contact with both the Operator and the Passenger, numerous signs of criminal activity were observed. A consensual search of the vehicle was requested and granted by the Operator. During the search, a bulk amount of U.S. Currency was discovered. Both the Operator and the Passenger were then taken into custody and transported to PSP Hamburg to be further interviewed. During the interview, both the Operator and the Passenger advised of their involvement with Human Traffic from AZ to northern U.S. States. Both the Operator and the Passenger also advised that the U.S. Currency was payment for transporting illegal immigrants. Charges for Dealing in Proceeds of Unlawful Activities were compiled for both the Operator and the Passenger. The Operator and the Passenger were then transported to the Reading Central Processing. This investigation is currently ongoing. The Arrestee was Erik Guzman, a 26 year old Phoenix, AZ resident, and Martinez Hernandez Gerardo, a 30 year old Phoenix, AZ resident.
DUI – On Nov. 6, 2021 at 1:51 a.m., PSP Jonestown conducted a traffic stop on the 00 block of I 78 East. The Operator was found to be under the influence of alcohol. The Arrestee was Michael Seig, a 59 year old Harrisburg man. The vehicles involved included a 2011 Ford Fusion.
City of Lebanon
DUI – On Nov. 6, 2021 at 6:06 p.m., PSP Jonestown conducted a traffic stop at Freeman St. and Lehman St. The Operator was found to be under the influence of marijuana. Charges are to follow. The Arrestee was an 18 year old Lebanon man. The vehicles involved included a Honda Accord Crosstour.
Cleona Borough
Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 6, 2021 at 6:39 a.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred on East Penn Ave., just west of its intersection with Balsam Alley in Cleona Boro. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 1991 Lincoln-Continental Town Car, driven by Operator 1, a 17 year old Bethel juvenile female, was traveling west on East Penn Ave. Unit 1 began to have mechanical issues. Operator 1 subsequently lost control of Unit 1, which came to final rest after striking a fence in between two properties located on the 300 block of East Penn Ave. Unit 1 sustained minor dents and scrapes to its front end, and there was oil leaking from Unit 1. The oil had leaked from the start of the crash leading to its final resting position. Unit 1’s steering column was inoperable. Unit 1 also had a deflated passenger’s side front tire. Operator 1 was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Leffler’s Towing Company. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.
East Hanover Township
Harassment – On Nov. 7, 2021 at 6:47 a.m., the PSP responded to a call at Allentown Blvd. regarding unwanted text messages. It was shown that the Victim was texted multiple times after informing the Arrestee to stop. This is an ongoing issue and the Arrestee was notified prior that no more contact should be made. A nontraffic citation was filed on the Arrestee for Harassment. The Victim was a 26 year old Grantville man. The Arrestee was Stephanie Sheroski, a 38 year old Harrisburg woman.
Drug Possession – On Oct. 2, 2021 at 8:46 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to a hit-and-run crash on I 81 South. Investigation revealed that the suspected Operator 1 was in possession of an illegal substance. PSP is investigating.
Heidelberg Township
Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 23, 2021 at 8:27 p.m., this two-vehicle hit-and-run crash occurred on SR 501, south of its intersection with SR 897 in Heidelberg Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 2, a 2017 Buick Encore, driven by Operator 2, a 25 year old Myerstown woman, was facing north on SR 501 at its intersection with SR 897 at a red light. Unit 1, an unknown make and model, driven by Operator 1, was traveling north on SR 501, directly behind Unit 2. Unit 1 rear-ended Unit 2 as it was stopped at the red light. Unit 1 then fled the scene, traveling north on SR 501. It is unknown whether Operator 1 was wearing their seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 2 was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. It is unknown whether and to what extent Operator 1 sustained any injuries as a result of this crash. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash.
Jackson Township
Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 5, 2021 at approximately 6:15 a.m., the PSP investigated a single-vehicle crash that occurred on SR 422 Westbound, just east of its intersection of North Ramona Rd. in Jackson Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2011 Ford Fusion, driven by Operator 1, a 65 year old Myerstown woman, was traveling west in the right line of SR 422, when a deer entered the roadway from the north side. Unit 1 struck the deer with the front end of the vehicle. Unit 1 pulled to the shoulder of the roadway. Operator 1 was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was removed from the scene by CJ Wagner’s Towing.
Myerstown Borough
Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 4, 2021 at 9:18 a.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred in the traffic way of the Rodeway Inn, located at 411 North College St. in Myerstown Boro. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2013 Ford Focus, driven by Operator 1, a 28 year old Annville woman, was traversing the traffic way and struck a curb. Unit 1 was disabled from the crash and was towed from the scene by AAA. Operator 1 was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash.
Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 8, 2021 at 11:51 a.m., this crash occurred on North College St. at its intersection with West Lincoln Ave. in Myerstown Boro. Unit 1, an unknown make and model, driven by Operator 1, was traveling south on North College St. behind Unit 2, a 2017 Nissan Altima, driven by Operator 2, a 23 year old Pottstown woman. Unit 2 was traveling south on North College St., stopped at a red traffic signal. Unit 1 rear-ended Unit 2. Unit 2 pulled into a nearby parking lot while Unit 1 fled the scene. The extent of the damage to Unit 1 is unknown. Unit 2 sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene by Operator 2. It is unknown whether Operator 1 was wearing their seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 2 was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. It is unknown whether and to what extent Operator 1 sustained any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash.
North Londonderry Township
Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 4, 2021 at 5:14 p.m., this crash occurred on the 1200 block of West Main St. as Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 23 year old Annville resident, was struck in the rear by Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 33 year old Hummelstown resident. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Zimmey’s Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Following Too Closely.
Vehicle Accident – North Londonderry Twp. Police have cited a 39 year old Lebanon man with Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed following a three-vehicle accident on the 1300 block of East Main St. on Nov. 5, 2021 at 3:46 p.m.
Vehicle Accident – North Londonderry Twp. Police have cited a 17 year old Lebanon juvenile female with Vehicles Turning Left. The citation was a result of an accident that occurred after the juvenile female turned left and struck another vehicle, driven by a 19 year old Annville man that was traveling in the opposite direction. The accident occurred on Nov. 8, 2021 at 9:13 p.m. on Main St. and Apple Blossom Ln. in Palmyra.
Swatara Township
Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 23, 2021 at 8:05 a.m., this hit-and-run crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2000 Ford Ranger, driven by Operator 1, Colby Neal, an 18 year old Lebanon man, was traveling north on Kenbrook Rd. in Swatara Twp. Unit 1 was in the right lane, traveling up a slight incline and attempting to negotiate a slight left turn when Unit 1 spun out and hit a pole on the west side of the roadway. Initial impact occurred as the rear bumper and tailgate of Unit 1 struck a utility pole. Unit 1 sustained functional damage to the rear bumper and tailgate. Operator 1 left the scene of the crash to go to a friend’s house before reporting to police. Met-Ed was contacted about the damage to the pole. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.
Union Township
Death Investigation – The PSP Troop L Major Case Team and the Lebanon County District Attorney’s Office are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred on the 00 block of Ridge Rd. in Union Twp. PSP Jonestown was dispatched on Nov. 7, 2021 at 10:42 p.m. for a PFA violation at the above-listed location. While the troopers were on location at the above-listed location, the Defendant, Andrew Dzwonchyk, a 40 year old Jonestown resident, of the active PFA arrived on location in a vehicle. Troopers attempted to take the Defendant into custody. A struggle ensued with the Defendant as troopers were attempting to take the Defendant into custody while the Defendant was seated in the driver’s seat of his vehicle. The Defendant drove forward and in reverse while one trooper was partially in the vehicle, causing the trooper to be dragged. Attempts to taser the Defendent were unsuccessful. A trooper then transitioned to his Department-issued firearm. The trooper discharged his firearm, striking the Defendent. Immediate first aid was given to the Defendent by both troopers. EMS responded to the scene. The Defendent was pronounced deceased at the scene by Lebanon County Coroner’s Office.
Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – In the commission of this crime, an unknown Actor(s) struck a vehicle in the Victim’s driveway near Moonshine Rd. between Nov. 6, 2021 at 10:00 p.m. and Nov. 7, 2021 at 5:30 a.m. The vehicle displayed a red paint transfer. The unknown Actor(s) fled the scene in an unknown direction, presumably in a red vehicle. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194. The Victim was a 39 year old Jonestown man. The damaged property included a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt Bumper Cover, valued at $300.00. The vandalized vehicles included a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt.
Disorderly Conduct – On Nov. 9, 2021 at 4:17 p.m., PSP Jonestown was dispatched to a report of a drug overdose on the 500 block of Hemlock Hill Ln. Upon trooper’s arrival, it was discovered that the Arrestee had contacted 911 with false claims and no drug overdose had occurred or was occurring. The Arrestee had contacted 911 because he was angry with his significant other. The Arrestee was cited with Disorderly Conduct. The Arrestee was a 34 year old Myerstown man.
