The annual Palmyra tree lighting, hosted by the Palmyra Area Lions Club, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4, in the square.
The event will commence at 6 p.m.
Entertainment will be provided by a brass band and the Palmyra High School players. Guest speaker will be from the Quigley Baum American Legion Post 72.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit the square until 8 p.m.
Donations will be collected at the event for the Pennsylvania Lions Beacon Lodge Camp. Their donation wish list can be viewed here.
Beacon Lodge Camp is a camp in Mount Union for individuals who have special needs.
