Good Friday morning!
Friday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with increasing dew points. Temps will range in the mid to upper 70’s but unfortunately we think rain and thunderstorms will put a damper on outdoor plans especially as we progress into the evening hours. We will be watching for a few stronger storms and this threat would come between 4-9 p.m. In the strongest of cells, heavy rain with flash flooding is likely and a few cells may produce wind damage.
The holiday weekend improves by Saturday as early morning clouds give way to increasing sunshine by the late morning. Temps will make a run to either side of 80 degrees with a few stray isolated shower possible early.
Sunday wall-to-wall sunshine returns to the region along with temps making it back into the lower 80’s.
Monday and beyond looks like a mini heat wave may be hitting the area. If we do not hit 90 on Monday, we will for sure by Tuesday and Wednesday. Oh, and wall-to-wall sunshine will follow this entire time!
