On June 19 at 5 p.m., Governor Dick Park will hold its second annual Solstice Run, with 5K and 10K options available.

The weekend run celebrates the summer solstice on June 21, the day with the longest period of sunlight. It is presented by the Clarence Schock Memorial Park and the Community Health Council of Lebanon County.

Proceeds will benefit a variety of park activities, including trail maintenance, programming, and facilities enhancement.

As of now, the 5K costs $25 and the 10K will cost $30. However, prices will increase June 7. Register online here.

Complete course maps are also viewable on the registration page.

Trying to decide which course to choose? Organizers recommend the 10K if you want to conquer the park’s longest and rockiest trail.

“The 5K offers similar rocks and hills, but not quite as many,” organizers said in a press release.
