The Cornwall Iron Furnace will host a day of music and cooking demonstrations on June 11, the first time its cast-iron cooking event has been held since before the pandemic.

On Saturday, June 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the iron furnace site will be host to cast-iron cooking demonstrations (including food samples), as well as a performance by the Keystone Band of Rehrersburg from 1 to 3 p.m.

In past years, demonstrators have prepared chicken noodle soup, chili, fried chicken, baked breads and cakes, and more.

The event is free and open to the public, although donations are encouraged to defray the costs of hosting the event.

Tours of the historic iron furnace will also be offered for the normal fee ($8 for ages 12-64, $4 for ages 3-11, $7 for ages 65 and up, and free for children 2 and under).
