Annville Township

Retail Theft, Criminal Conspiracy, Driving without a Driver’s License – At 11:20 p.m. June 22, police arrested Antoinette Auman, 27, and Jeffrey Wolf, 59, both of Lebanon, on outstanding Annville Township arrest warrants. Police charged Auman with retail theft and criminal conspiracy. Police charged Wolf with two types of retail theft, criminal conspiracy, and driving without a driver’s license. All charges stem from a retail theft incident on April 4 at a business in the 1200 block of East Main Street.

Bethel Township

Burglary Residential No Force – At approximately 9:23 p.m. June 19, police responded to an inactive burglary at a residence on the 00 block of Sunrise Court. Police met with two involved parties representing the complainant, who lives in Florida, and the victim, a 79-year-old Lebanon woman, who is currently hospitalized. Police learned that the suspect entered a safe without force, using a safe key, and stole approximately $2,000 to $3,000 in U.S. currency. The exact amount of currency and bill size are unknown. There are two suspects in the case who had access to the key and the residence during the time of the crime. A polygraph request will be made. The investigation is ongoing.

City of Lebanon

Harassment – Police cited a 27-year-old Lebanon man for harassment at 2:34 p.m. June 20 on the 600 block of North Hanover Street.

Simple Assault – Police cited Angel Rodriguez-Serrano, 44, of Lebanon, for simple assault (domestic violence-related) after an incident at 6:24 p.m. June 18 on the 200 block of North 8th Street. Rodriguez is accused of striking a 47-year-old victim with a plastic chair and a broom handle, causing injury to her arm, wrists, and forehead. She was transported to a local medical facility for evaluation. Police apprehended Rodriguez and transported him to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ Maria Dissinger and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Simple Assault – Police cited Dennis Green, 37, of Lebanon, with simple assault (domestic violence-related) after an incident at 10:03 p.m. June 21 on the 100 block of North 12th Street. Green is accused of striking a 42-year-old victim, injuring her nose. Police apprehended Green and transported him to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ Anthony Verna and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $7,500 bail.

Drug Possession – Police cited Paul Trace, 39, of Lebanon, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after contact with police at 11:45 a.m. April 29 on the 00 block of South 9th Street.

Public Drunkenness – Police cited a 60-year-old Lebanon man with public drunkenness at 4:21 p.m. June 16 on the 500 block of Walnut Street.

Heidelberg Township

Hit-and-Run – At 11:48 a.m. June 11, a hit-and-run crash occurred on SR 501 South, just before its intersection with Oak Street. A 2013 Toyota Sienna driven by a 45-year-old Lebanon man, accompanied by a 15-year-old Lebanon male, was stopped on the road behind traffic when an unknown vehicle driven by an unknown actor rear-ended it. After hitting the Toyota, the unknown vehicle turned right onto Oak Street and fled the scene. The Toyota sustained minor paint transfer damage and was driven from the scene. The Toyota driver and his passenger were wearing seatbelts and reported no injuries.

Jackson Township

Vehicle Accident, Stop Signs and Yield Signs – At 2:24 p.m. June 19, a crash occurred at the intersection of Halfway Drive and Stracks Dam Road. A 1998 Harley-Davidson MC driven by a 61-year-old Lebanon man was traveling south on Halfway Drive and failed to yield for oncoming traffic at the intersection with Stracks Dam Road. A 2011 Hyundai Sonata driven by an 18-year-old Newmanstown man was traveling west on Stracks Dam Road. Impact occurred when the Hyundai’s 1 o’clock position struck the Harley-Davidson’s 9 o’clock position in the intersection. The Harley-Davidson required towing. The Lebanon man was not using safety equipment and sustained a possible injury and was transported via Myerstown First Aid Unit to the Hershey Medical Center. Police cited the Lebanon man for stop signs and yield signs.

Millcreek Township

DUI – At 9:36 p.m. June 18, a crash occurred as a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Caeleb Blatt, 26, of Lebanon, was traveling west on SR 897 near its intersection with Hopeland Road when it left the road to its north and struck a utility pole. Blatt was wearing a seatbelt and reported no injuries. Police cited Blatt with driving under the influence of alcohol/controlled substance – highest rate of alcohol.

Myerstown Borough

Death Natural – At 9:39 a.m. June 20, police responded to North Railroad Street for a reported death of a 53-year-old Myerstown woman. The death appeared to be from natural causes. No foul play or suspicious activity was observed.

Vehicle Accident – At 7:58 p.m. June 19, a crash occurred on the 00 block of East Muth Avenue. A 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by a 74-year-old Newmanstown woman was traveling east on East Muth Avenue, just past its intersection with South Railroad Street when the Toyota failed to drive within the travel lanes and struck the front of a 2021 Cadillac XT4 that was legally parked, facing west. After impact, the Toyota backed up and fled east. Police later located the Toyota and identified the driver. It is unknown whether the woman was wearing a seatbelt. The woman reported no injuries. No tow or EMS was required. Police cited the woman for accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle or property.

North Cornwall Township

Vehicle Accident, Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked – At 12:28 p.m. June 18, a crash occurred on the 1900 block of Cumberland Street. A motorcycle driven by a 61-year-old Lebanon man was traveling east on Cumberland Street when a 31-year-old Lebanon woman pulled out from a parking lot to travel west on Cumberland Street. The Lebanon man struck the rear driver’s side of the woman’s vehicle. The Lebanon man sustained unknown injuries and was transported to the Hershey Medical Center. Police cited the Lebanon man for driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked.

Vehicle Accident – At 12 p.m. June 19, a crash occurred on the 1200 block of Quentin Road at Isabel Drive. A vehicle driven by a 19-year-old Lebanon man was traveling south on Quentin Road in the area of Isabel Drive when he rear-ended a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Richland female. The vehicles were towed. No injuries were reported.

Vehicle Accident – At 7:37 a.m. June 20, a crash occurred on the 1900 block of Cumberland Street. A vehicle driven by a 54-year-old Lebanon man was parked on the east shoulder of Cumberland Street but was facing west. The Lebanon man backed into the Bagel Rack parking lot and struck a vehicle driven by a 41-year-old Lebanon woman who was parked on the lot. The vehicles sustained minor damage. No injuries were reported.

Disorderly Conduct – At 2:36 p.m. June 20, an incident occurred at the Highland Glen parking lot. Police responded to the parking area for a male in a vehicle with marijuana. Police cited a 28-year-old Jonestown man for disorderly conduct – hazardous conditions.

Vehicle Accident – At 11 a.m. June 23, a crash occurred on the 800 block of Tuck Street as a vehicle driven by a 70-year-old Lebanon woman was backing up and struck a van owned by Cornwall Manor. The vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene. No injuries were reported, according to police.

Vehicle Accident – At 4:44 p.m. June 23, a crash occurred in a parking lot near the 1100 block of Quentin Road. A vehicle driven by a 30-year-old Cleona woman was backing out of a parking space and struck a vehicle that was parked and unoccupied at the time. The vehicles sustained light damage. No injuries were reported.

North Lebanon Township

DUI – At 2:10 a.m. June 18, police arrested Ernest Candelaria, 37, of Lebanon, for driving while under the influence of alcohol. This incident occurred on Old Ebenezer and Ebenezer roads and involved a 1996 Honda Civic.

Theft By Deception – At 2:44 p.m. June 20, an incident occurred on the 00 block of Green Acres Trailer Court. It was reported that an individual identifying himself as a police officer contacted the victim, a 74-year-old Lebanon man, on the phone and requested a large amount of money in order for an alleged arrest warrant against the victim to be invalidated. The victim did not provide the money requested and reported the incident.

Retail Theft – Police charged Isiah Nana, 18, of Lebanon, with retail theft after an incident at Walmart, at 1355 E. Lehman St. Nana allegedly exited Walmart without paying for a bike, valued at $198.

Simple Assault, Disorderly Conduct, Harassment – Police charged Francis Nye Jr., 34, of Lebanon, after an incident at the Relax Inn, 1524 E. Cumberland St., on May 12.

Drug Possession – Police charged Alicia Bachert, 33, of Jonestown, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on the 400 block of Ebenezer Road on May 13.

Possession of Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered – Police charged Maria Dones, 29, of Lebanon, with possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered after they responded to a noise complaint at a residence on Sandhill Road on Jan. 28.

Drug Possession, Possession of a Controlled Substance Not Registered Under Name – Police charged Dylan Sanchez, 26, of Lebanon, with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance not registered under name, and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident at the Hampton Inn on Jan. 29.

Palmyra Borough

DUI, Drug Possession – At approximately 7:20 p.m. May 21, police responded to the 700 block of East Main Street for a well-being check. Police identified the defendant, Danielle Ritchie, 32, of Sykesville, Maryland, who was leaving the scene in her vehicle. Police placed Ritchie under arrest for DUI. Police filed a criminal complaint charging Ritchie with DUI – controlled substance and possession of controlled substance on June 10. 

Bench Warrant, Flight to Avoid Apprehension, Drug Possession – At 2:43 a.m. June 16, police attempted to stop Jason Knight, 45, who was wanted out of York County for a felony bench warrant. Knight attempted to evade police but was taken into custody. While in custody, police found Knight had drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana. Knight has since been released from custody and an arrest warrant has been issued for flight to avoid apprehension, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a small amount of marijuana. Anyone with information on his whereabouts can contact Palmyra Borough Police Department at 717-838-8188. 

Fleeing and Eluding, Drug Possession, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving – At approximately 12:52 a.m. June 20, police attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a black Ford Explorer, when the vehicle sped up and failed to yield. After a brief pursuit, police located the vehicle unoccupied at the Palmyra Sportsmen’s Association. Police identified the driver as Neil Swatsky, 39. Police filed an arrest warrant for fleeing and eluding, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a small amount of marijuana, reckless driving, careless driving, and registration and certificate of title required. DUI – At approximately 2:49 a.m. June 7, police responded to the 400 block of West Main Street for a possible DUI. Upon arrival, police located a blue Volkswagen Beetle that was stopped in the middle of the road, revving its engine. Police identified the driver as Lauren Goldberg, 23, and determined that Goldberg was driving under the influence of alcohol and placed her under arrest. Goldberg refused a blood draw. Police cited Goldberg with DUI-incapable of safe driving and minimum speed regulation. The charges were filed through MDJ Garver’s office on June 13. 

South Lebanon Township

Drug Possession – Police are investigating a report of controlled substances being located and seized sometime between 12 a.m. May 9 and 11:59 p.m. May 17 on East Walnut Street.

Swatara Township

Vehicle Accident, Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed – At 3:27 p.m. June 17, a crash occurred as a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by a 48-year-old Jonestown man, accompanied by a 42-year-old Jonestown woman and a 60-year-old Jonestown man, was traveling south on SR 72 behind a 2012 Honda Odyssey driven by a 35-year-old Lebanon woman. The Honda was almost stopped on SR 72, attempting to turn left onto East Church Road. The Dodge failed to stop and rear-ended the Honda. The three Jonestown residents were not wearing seatbelts. The 35-year-old Lebanon woman was wearing a seatbelt. The 48-year-old Jonestown man and the 42-year-old Jonestown woman sustained suspected minor injuries and were transported via First Aid and Safety Patrol of Lebanon and Life Lion EMS to the Hershey Medical Center. The 35-year-old Lebanon woman sustained a suspected minor injury and was transported via Central Medical Ambulance. Police cited the 48-year-old Jonestown man with driving vehicle at safe speed.

Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – At 3:46 p.m. June 19, police were dispatched to the 200 block of Mountville Drive for a report of criminal mischief. Upon arrival, police located a damaged fence, valued at $100. It was reported that on an unknown date and time, a suspected vehicle entered the property, caused damage to said vehicle, and fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victim was a 43-year-old Jonestown man. Anyone with any information is asked to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194.

Union Township

Alleged Robbery – At approximately 4:16 p.m. June 19, police responded to the KOA Campground, at 9 Lickdale Road, for a reported assault on a 12-year-old Olyphant male. Police interviewed the juvenile in the presence of his parents. The juvenile said two adult men punched him in the stomach and stole his silver cross chain necklace, valued at $18. When re-interviewed, the juvenile changed his story but insisted that the incident occurred. Police believe the report is unfounded. The investigation is closed.

Vehicle Accident, Vehicle Turning Left – At 6:23 p.m. June 24, a crash occurred as a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 76-year-old Williamstown man was in the left turn lane on Fisher Avenue at its intersection with SR 72. A 2013 Kia Sorento driven by a 46-year-old Lebanon man accompanied by a 45-year-old Richland man was traveling west on Lickdale Road, crossing through its intersection with SR 72 to proceed onto Fisher Avenue. Both vehicles were facing a steady green light. The Chevrolet turned left without proper clearance, striking the driver’s side of the Kia. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed. All parties were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, sustained suspected minor injuries, and refused medical treatment. Northern Lebanon Fire and Emergency Services and Life Lion EMS also assisted on the scene. Police cited the 76-year-old Williamstown man with vehicle turning left.
