LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

The Pet of the Week will sometimes be a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the column will spotlight an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.

This week, meet Timmy!

According to PAWS director Kathy Fitzkee, Timmy is just one more piece of evidence proving the lie that black cats are bad luck!

“Are you drawn to goofballs? Here’s goofball No. 1,” Kathy says. “This is Timmy, the tripod with half a tail. He’s a sweetie and he doesn’t know he’s any different.”

Timmy, just 9 months old, doesn’t seem bothered by the loss of one leg, she says.

“However, he does know he’s a goofball — he loves being crazy and playing hard with toys. For some treats he’ll slow things down and take a nap,” Kathy adds. “Timmy would love a home that will be patient with him while he continues to learn how to maneuver stairs and jumping on laps. No need to learn loving — he’s got that down.”

Do you think Timmy is a match for you? He’s available for adoption through PAWS. To arrange a meet and greet or for more information on this furry pal, email Kathy at PAWS@PAWSofPA.org.
