Editor’s Note: Last year, Michael and Nicole Borrell began reviewing Lebanon Valley’s restaurants and eating attractions as the Lebanon Valley Food Critics. Since then, the couple has aimed to offer unbiased reviews of the eating and drinking establishments the Lebanon Valley has to offer. LebTown is pleased to be partnering with LVFC to share these reviews with our readers. Bon appétit!

During the summer months, we always have a busy schedule, and this week was no exception. So we stopped by Downtown Lebanon for Food Truck Palooza.

We had a few other things going on that night, but we were able to make a quick stop to grab a bite for us to share. So, we picked a truck that we have seen at numerous events but had never ordered from previously, Wich Way Sandwiches.

Wich Way Sandwiches

All over Lebanon County!

Hours vary depending on event

Wich Way specializes in panini-pressed sandwiches. This evening, we were in the mood for the Italian Grinder ($10). This sandwich came with capicola, salami, pepperoni, mozzarella, provolone, pepper relish, and mayo. There is a cold option for this sandwich only.

The sandwich comes out sliced in half and a proper portion size. Simple ingredients put together for a simple sandwich. The pepper relish gave a nice flavor to this sandwich. As we ate, the sandwich maintained its integrity and did not become a mess in our hands. We were able to enjoy this dish while walking around this evening’s event.

Our take: Wich Way offers simple sandwiches made with quality meats. The sandwiches aren’t messy and make for simple eating and sharing. It’s a nice option for eating while on the go, especially at a street event or fair.
