Editor’s Note: In 2021, Michael and Nicole Borrell began reviewing Lebanon Valley’s restaurants and eating attractions as the Lebanon Valley Food Critics. Since then, the couple has aimed to offer unbiased reviews of the eating and drinking establishments the Lebanon Valley has to offer. LebTown is pleased to be partnering with LVFC to share these reviews with our readers. Bon appétit!

After everyone who responded to our posts about the Lebanon Area Fair last week, I decided I needed to make a trip over there with the family. Had to get one of my favorite things to take home for breakfast the next morning, a Mr. Sticky’s sticky bun.

Born and raised in Williamsport, I’ve known about Mr. Sticky’s since they started. It’s amazing how they’ve grown to be all over the area. We would sell them for fundraisers when we went to New York City with our drama club, and we would stop at the store often to enjoy them as a family (they used to have some yummy sandwiches at their store too!). Some of the best sticky buns, only second to my grandmother’s, which were unbeatable!

When you stop at the food truck, you’ll be able to choose a regular, walnut sticky or a cinnamon bun (that’s a sticky without the ooey gooey goodness on top!). I chose a regular sticky with a side of cream cheese frosting. You can also choose peanut butter frosting as well! You really can’t go wrong. Fortunately for me, the other critic isn’t a big sticky bun fan, but the little critic enjoyed it with me! It was so filling we ate about half and I’m looking forward to eating it today and truly making it a Monday Morning Munchie!
