Editor’s Note: Last year, Michael and Nicole Borrell began reviewing Lebanon Valley’s restaurants and eating attractions as the Lebanon Valley Food Critics. Since then, the couple has aimed to offer unbiased reviews of the eating and drinking establishments the Lebanon Valley has to offer. LebTown is pleased to be partnering with LVFC to share these reviews with our readers. Bon appétit!

Today for my mid-week lunch we opted to go back to Asian cuisine. And this week I took a cue from some of my employees who have ordered from a local spot a few times before. So, we headed to the west end of the Valley and visited Kylin Asian Fusion.

Located in the Palmyra Shopping Center on Route 422, Kylin Asian Fusion offers take out service and dine-in seating. Kylin also has an online ordering platform, which we used today, and it was simple to use. Online orders can be picked up easily for a quick option for those on the go.

For our meal today we chose the Orange Chicken rice bowl ($8.95) and shrimp egg roll ($1.89). The shrimp egg roll came with two shrimp inside a thin wonton wrapper. They package the roll with two packets of duck sauce, so you don’t need to get any yourself.

The chicken bowl came with hearty chicken pieces on top of white rice. The zest of the orange was present, but it was lacking the critical tang. Its large chicken pieces were a pleasant surprise. The portion size was plentiful enough to make for a second lunch another day.

Our take: Kylin offers a blend of rice and poke bowls, hibachi, lo mein, and Asian style meats. Our dish was made with quality ingredients. The online ordering was simple, and food was ready quick. It would be nice if they offered sushi on the menu, but we are certain when we order again, our food will be great.

We give this place ????.
