Starting this week, PennDOT will hold a weekly open house each Tuesday from noon to 4 p.m. at the Lebanon County Maintenance Office, 1445 Cumberland St.
PennDOT is seeking Lebanon County applicants interested in temporary or permanent CDL operator positions (starting pay $21/hour), diesel and construction equipment mechanics positions (starting pay $25.91/hour), and diesel and construction equipment mechanic trainees (starting pay $22.33).
Staff will be on hand to discuss the opportunities, and on-the-spot applications, interviews, and driving skills test will be available.
CDL drivers must have a valid Class A or Class B Pennsylvania Commercial Driver License with no restrictions. Diesel and construction equipment mechanics must have a Pennsylvania CDL and a Class 7 inspector mechanic certification.
Both positions require a current medical examiners card.
HR personnel will also be on-site to discuss benefit options and other opportunities within the transportation authority.
