Target will hold a grand opening of its Lebanon store (1745 Quentin Road) on Nov. 6, according to flyers posted on the store’s doors.

The company has not yet officially confirmed an opening date through its public relations firm, but flyers posted on the doors of the new store indicate a Nov. 6 grand opening.

While inventory was not visible during LebTown’s visit Sunday, Oct. 2, the store continues to be outfitted with displays and other equipment, and at least a few Target employees were working over the weekend.

As previously reported by LebTown, the company has already begun hiring for the store, with jobs online for the 1745 Quentin Road location including Inbound Operations Team Leader, Security Specialist, Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant), and Specialty Sales (Style, Beauty, or Tech).

The 117,200-square-foot former Kmart sits on a 15.35-acre lot, surrounded by large surface parking lots. The Kmart closed in early 2020 as part of a nationwide shuttering of the former big box behemoth, which had 2,486 stores at its peak in the 1990s. It was subsequently used as a Spirit Halloween location in fall 2020 and then served as the county’s mass vaccination site in early 2021.
