The Lebanon Valley Conservancy has expanded its leadership team, with past executive director Courtney Reimann moving into a role as land protection director and Kara Lubold joining as executive director.
Reimann and Lubold began working together at the end of August.
“We’re thrilled to have Kara on our team,” said Reimann. “Her environmental background and diverse experience are a perfect fit for the Conservancy.”
“Having Kara in this role will allow me to focus on land preservation, which is such an important piece of our mission, especially with the rapid growth and recent development in our county.”
Lubold is a Pennsylvania native and military spouse with a masters in environmental science and a background in administration.
“I developed a passion for the environment by fishing, hiking through the Poconos, and taking nature walks in game preserves with my family,” said Lubold in a press release.
“Being a military spouse has given me a unique perspective on the importance of community service… and opened my eyes to the complexity of regional and global environmental issues, as well as the importance of land management and conservation.”
