North Cornwall Township

Theft – At 10:35 a.m. Oct. 10, police arrested Jesus Diaz, 40, of Harrisburg, for intentionally obtaining or withholding property of another by deception via intentionally creating or reinforcing a false impression. Diaz conducted a fraudulent return with merchandise that was held for sale at Lowes. Diaz received U.S. currency and store credit for the return.

North Lebanon Township

Child Pornography – Police cited Samuel Rhoads, 18, of Lebanon, with child pornography after incidents on the 1800 block of East Cumberland Street between Aug. 3 and 6.

Simple Assault – Police cited Samantha Shiner, 31, of Lebanon, with simple assault after an incident on the 900 block of Miller Street on Oct. 13.

North Londonderry Township

DUI – At 1:20 a.m. July 23, police cited Michael Payne, 53, of Harrisburg, with DUI-high rate and DUI-incapable of safe driving after an incident on the 1000 block of East Main Street. Payne’s BAC was .153% at the time.

DUI – At 2:51 a.m. Sept. 3, police cited Beatrice Vega, 49, of Palmyra, with two counts of DUI (DUI-highest rate, DUI-incapable of safe driving) and one traffic offense after police observed a vehicle driven by Vega stopped in the 800 block of Gravel Hill Road. Vega’s BAC at the time of the incident was .179%.

Palmyra Borough

Theft – At approximately 10 p.m. Oct. 5, police responded to the 100 block of North Locust Street for the theft of a BMX Mongoose Brawler bike and several plastic bins from the rear of a home. The BMX bike was primarily black with gold features, and the bins were red, blue, and yellow. Bench Warrants – At approximately 8:57 a.m. Oct. 8, police responded to the Cadillac Inn, 977 E. Main St., and identified two subjects that had bench warrants out of the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Department. Michael Ely, 49, had a warrant for failure to appear with the original charge being altered, forged, or counterfeit documents. Sherri Tracey had two warrants for domestic relations. Police took both subjects into custody and transported them to LCCB.

Bench Warrant – At approximately 1:16 p.m. Oct. 7, police were on patrol when they identified a known wanted subject, Gary Urban III, 35, who was known to have a bench warrant out of York County for retail theft. Police placed Urban under arrest for the warrant and transported him to LCCB to await transport to York County.

DUI, Drug Possession – At 9:49 p.m. Aug. 21, police initiated a traffic stop on the 00 block of West Walnut Street. Police determined that the driver, Gregory Harris, 33, was operating without a valid registration, emissions sticker, or proof of insurance. Police also determined that Harris was under the influence of marijuana and in possession of marijuana. Police placed Harris under arrest for suspicion of DUI and took him to Good Samaritan Hospital for a legal blood draw. Blood results showed that Harris was operating with high amounts of THC in his system. On Oct. 3, Harris was charged with three counts of DUI-drug, possession of marijuana-small amount, and three summary traffic violations. 

Drug Possession, General Lighting Requirements – At 3:43 a.m. Sept. 30, police initiated a traffic stop on a gray Kia Optima on the 900 block of East Main Street. Police said driver Horan Thomas Jr., 20, was in possession of drug paraphernalia. On Oct. 3, a criminal complaint was filed through MDJ Garver’s office, charging Thomas with possession of drug paraphernalia and general lighting requirements. 

Driving While Suspended – At approximately 11:12 a.m. Oct. 6, police observed Tony Kreider, 42, who was known to have a suspended driver’s license, driving a black Volvo XC60 in the 00 block of West Main Street. Kreider’s license had been suspended for a DUI, and he had two prior violations. On Oct. 7, a criminal complaint was filed with MDJ Garver’s office, charging Kreider with one count of driving while suspended (DUI-related) – third or subsequent offense.  

Help to Identify – Police are requesting help in identifying the male subject wearing the white shirt, who was involved in passing counterfeit currency at the Palmyra Rite-Aid. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Palmyra Borough police at 717-838-8188.

South Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident – At 7:15 p.m. Oct. 5, a 2020 Chevrolet Trail Blazer driven by a 50-year-old Elizabethtown man struck a tree that had fallen onto the road on the 500 block of Mount Gretna Road. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – At 8:32 a.m. Oct. 4, a 2021 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 46-year-old Hummelstown woman struck a tree on Mount Gretna Road, east of Mount Wilson Road, after the driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to avoid a deer. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Theft By Unlawful Taking – Police cited Mark Laudiero, 57, of Palmyra, for an incident on June 4, when Laudiero is alleged to have stolen cleaning supplies worth approximately $1,300 from Ames Service.

West Cornwall Township

Harassment – At 9:33 p.m. Oct. 8, police cited a 40-year-old Lebanon woman after an incident on West Main Street.
