Bilingual Receptionist

Provide customer service, complete administrative duties, and assist in proper translation between English and Spanish for customer assistance and promotional purposes.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing customer service to clients, processing clerical and administrative duties.
  • Greet customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Answering phones.
  • Transferring phone calls to proper personnel and take messages as needed.
  • Assisting customers with bus schedule information.
  • Register customers for the Half Fare Transit and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 Program (ADA).
  • Typing and filing duties.
  • Prepare outgoing mail and receive incoming mail.
  • Send out Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Applications.
  • Assist customers buying bus passes or coupon books.
  • Assuring all schedules are filled in the racks.
  • Print and fold all bus schedules.
  • Translate English brochures in Spanish.
  • Data Entry for Fixed Route mileage.
  • Schedule trips for Shared Ride services in Ecolane Software.
  • Data entry for Half Fare clients in Access data base.

As determined by management. Essential office functions will be shared with other administrative personnel on an as needed basis. These functions could include but are not limited to:

  • Receiving and entering Shared Ride reservations.
  • Assisting other personnel with tasks when required.
  • Receiving complaints and filling out the proper form.

The hourly wage for this position is $15.50, accompanied by an excellent benefits package.

Full/Part Time Fixed Route Drivers

Fixed Route driver candidates must have a CDL Class B license with Passenger endorsements and will be responsible for operating Fixed Route buses and providing customer service to passengers.

Candidates must have a CDL Class B license with Passenger endorsement and Air Brake Restriction Lifted. Starting wage is $20.67/hr with annual increases. Benefits include paid vacation, holidays, sick, & personal days, medical insurance, and retirement plans. Uniforms are provided.

Full/Part Time Shared Route Drivers

Shared Ride drivers are responsible for driving Shared Ride vans, providing excellent customer service, and assisting passengers while adhering to guidelines such as those outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Shifts will run Tuesday – Saturday. Basic physical requirements will include but not limited to assisting customers with packages on and off vehicles and properly securing wheelchairs. Excellent customer service skills and DOT Physical required. This is an all-weather conditions position. Starting wage is $17.45/hr with annual pay increases.

Vehicle Mechanic

Vehicle Mechanics will be responsible for maintenance of both Fixed Route buses and Shared Ride vans and must have a CDL Class B license with Passenger endorsement.

Immediate opening for a Vehicle Mechanic. Class B CDL with P Endorsement & Air Brake Restriction Lifted (preferred). This is a 2nd Shift Position 3pm – 11:30pm.

Bus Detailer

Bus Detailers must have an eye for detail and cleanliness.

Lebanon Transit (LT) has a position open for a full-time Bus Detailer.

Applicants must have a valid PA drivers’ license and an eye for detail. Cleaning and or vehicle detailing experience a plus. Starting wage is $15.98/hr with annual pay increases.

This is a second shift position. Occasional Saturday hours may be required. This position offers an excellent benefits package.

Building and Grounds Maintenance Person

The Building and Grounds Maintenance Person is responsible for the cleanliness, general maintenance, and overall appearance of all Lebanon Transit buildings.

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, general maintenance and overall appearance of all Lebanon Transit facilities. Duties include but are not limited to mowing, plowing snow, pulling and spraying weeds, electrical, plumbing and other duties as required in the job description. This position is a Monday through Friday position. Overtime may be required including Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. Starting wage is $15.98/hr with annual pay increases.
