The North Lebanon Township Board of Supervisors unanimously voted to advertise the 2023 budget at its Nov. 21 meeting.
The budget, which does not propose a tax increase, anticipates total revenues of $4,867,711 and expenses of $4,864,530.
47 percent of expenses go toward the police force, followed up by 15 percent for public works and 9 percent toward administration.
There are several projects anticipated for 2023.
The park and recreation projects planned are the Lenni Lenape Park trail, a Lion’s Lake restroom concrete floor replacement, township shed repair, and paving of township rental pavilion, totaling $33.260.
$1,016,562 is budgeted from the liquid fuels fund, largely going toward the paving of Alpha, Beta, Cappa and Sholly avenues, Parkway, Greenwood Drive, and Willow, Maple, Oak and Sycamore lanes.
From the capital improvement fund, the township plans to replace the police department roof, paint block walls on the municipal building, replace the building’s phone system, acquire land, and work on a capital improvement project at Lion’s Lake.
