Lebanon city police are investigating the non-fatal shooting of a 39-year-old man in what was described as a targeted attack.
According to a statement from police, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of North 6th Street at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, for a report of a male with a gunshot wound.
Upon arrival, police spoke with the 39-year-old male victim, who had a single gunshot wound to his leg.
The victim’s injuries were non-life-threatening, said police, and he was transported to the Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment.
According to the police release, the victim is believed to have known the shooter, and police do not believe this was a random act of violence.
