Update 2/14: Lebanon City Police Department said that overnight they recovered an additional vehicle believed to have been involved in the incident. No additional information was released on the vehicle, including whether it was the vehicle that had been hit by gunfire.
Lebanon city police are looking into another case of gun shots fired in the city.
In a news release, police said that officers were dispatched on Monday, Feb. 13, around 3:25 p.m. to the 1000 block of Willow Street for a report of gunshots fired.
Police said that upon arrival they located several shell casings and, through further investigation, determined that a vehicle had been hit by gunfire.
According to the release, no gunshot victims were located, but two males were observed by witnesses leaving the scene in a dark-colored vehicle.
The incident is the latest in an apparent string of gun crime in the city. Police have not said if and how the incidents are related. In recent days, two Lebanon men have been arrested and charged by Lebanon police over alleged gun crimes.
