The Lebanon County Historical Society will host a free lecture about Sarah Tyson Rorer on Sunday, March 19.
The lecture, presented by Elizabethtown College professor Jean-Paul Benowitz, will cover the story of Sarah Tyson Rorer, an early culinary celebrity who spent her later years in Colebrook and Mount Gretna. According to Benowitz, Rorer was once the most famous cook in America.
The lecture will run from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
