Lebanon Transit will spend the first week of May 2023 thanking its customers for riding its bus system.

“Rider Appreciation Days” is a Statewide initiative developed in coordination with the Pennsylvania Public Transportation Agency (PPTA) and transit agencies across the Commonwealth.

Many transit agencies are offering customers a complimentary ride on Wednesday as a show of appreciation for their continued ridership.

Our customers have always been the driving force behind our success. Everyone at Lebanon Transit is deeply appreciative of all the support that the Lebanon community has shown us, both in the city and throughout the county. We’re incredibly proud to participate this event for the first time and look forward to celebrating our customers more often in the future.

Teri Giurintano, Executive Director, Lebanon Transit

Public transportation is an essential service in diverse communities across the Commonwealth, whether in rural, urban, or metropolitan areas. Transit provides access to opportunity. It is vital in getting people to work, school, medical appointments, grocery shopping, recreation, and many other places
