Annetta (Ann) May Brucker, 81, of Gladstone, Missouri, went to heaven on March 4, 2023.

Ann was born in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, to George Smith and Marguerite Light on July 22, 1941. She was the third youngest of 10 children. Ann graduated from Lebanon Senior High School in 1959 and completed continuing education course at Maple Woods Community College. She married Edward Peter Brucker, her high school sweetheart, on September 23, 1961. Ann worked at several occupations throughout her life.  Her favorite was the 25 years she taught as a Preschool Teacher at Faubion United Methodist Church in Gladstone Missouri.

Ann was a proud, loving wife, mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Cheering on her kids at sporting events and music performances. Ann had a passion for crafting. For over 50 years, her creative mind coupled with being an exceptional painter produced many a special gift for family members and friends.

Whether by air, land (RV), or sea (cruises), Ann liked to travel. She visited all 50 states and many countries including Canada, China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, and European countries along the Rhine River. Having two sons in the military, she always enjoyed helping them move between duty stations every couple of years, mostly by spoiling the grandchildren.

Ann was an active member of the Shoal Creek Church and volunteered much of her time to the betterment of the community. She spent many years helping lead church youth groups, was on the greeting committee at Shoal Creek Church, and regularly helped with holiday events such as the Children’s Christmas Store, and served as an election polling volunteer.

She is survived by her husband Ed, two sons, Duane (Kim) and Todd Brucker, Grandchildren; Shane (Susan) Brucker, Allison (Scott) Karagiorgas, Garrett (Toni) Brucker, Danielle (Eric) Hibner, and Meagan (Dalton) Brucker-Hahn, and six great grandchildren.
