Boyd R. “Bud” Kneasel Jr., 64, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, April 29th, 2023, at his residence after a 16-month battle with cancer.
Born in Lebanon, PA, on December 16th, 1958, he was the son of the late Boyd R. Kneasel Sr. and the late Dolores M. (Trautman) Kneasel.
Bud was a 1975 graduate of Lebanon High School. He enjoyed word searches, putting model cars together, painting, listening to music, his guinea pigs, spending time with his family, and special times with his caregiver/friend, Doug, and his friend, Ted. Bud was a devout Christian and volunteered his time with Jubilee Ministries. He spent over nine years of his life with the Lebanon Rescue Mission.
Surviving is his sister, Candace M. “Candy” Wentzel, wife of Stephen, of Lebanon, and several nieces and nephews.
Bud was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Kneasel.
A public visitation will be held from 10 AM-11 AM on Thursday, May 4th, 2023, at St. Mark’s United Church of Christ, 426 N. 8th St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Funeral services will begin at 11 AM on Thursday at the church. Interment will be held at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Lebanon Rescue Mission, P.O. Box 5, Lebanon, PA 17042, in his memory.
