Carmelo Morales-Calderon, 76, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Cedar Haven Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Aurea E. Morales.

Born in Dorado, Puerto Rico on May 12, 1943, Carmelo was a son of the late Angel Luis Morales and Encarnacion Calderon.

Carmelo was a person who loved going fishing on a hot summer day this was the best time to catch something were his words. He enjoyed gardening all day as this gave him some peace of mind. If he wasn’t outside singing along, he was inside spending time with his family and making jokes. What a comedian he was – his jokes would have everyone laughing for hours. Aside from his family, he had God’s work to do he was always at church attending sermons, he was always there to lend a hand. He will be greatly missed. Rest well, Papito. Mamita has waited long enough.

Carmelo is survived by five children, Carmelo Morales, Maritza Ramos, Jesus Morales Vazquez, Jeanette Morales, and Jacob Morales; ten grandchildren, Maritza, Carmelo, Jennifer, Hector, Catherine, Loraine, Catherine, Katelyn, Brianna, and Isaac.

Funeral services will be held privately. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements. Please share your memories with the family at our online guest book at thompsonfuneralhomelebanon.com
