Irma C. Rivera, 72, of Jonestown, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Miguel Garced.
Born in Cidra, Puerto Rico on Jan. 22, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Dolores Rivera and Salvadora Perez. Irma worshipped in the Catholic faith.
She is survived by her sons, Angel Garced, and his wife, Betzaida, of Maryland, and Jose Garced, of Puerto Rico; daughter, Yesenia Garced, and her husband, Eddie Flores, of Jonestown; sisters, Anna Rivera, of Puerto Rico, and Maria Rivera, of New Jersey; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Awildo Rivera, and Leonardo Rivera.
A viewing will be held at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown, on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Puerto Rico at the convenience of the family.
