Marjorie Ann “Margie” Hoke, 79, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away on April 23rd, 2023, in Lebanon, PA.

Born on September 2, 1943, in Harrisburg, Margie was the daughter of the late Marjorie and Richard Corl.

She was a creative and hard-working person who was also known for her friendly and faithful nature. Margie was stubborn at times, but this trait helped her achieve great success in life. Most of all, she made friends wherever she went. Her family often joked that anywhere she went, there was someone who already knew her. Margie was a Jehovah’s Witness and worshipped at her local congregation. She loved studying and sharing teachings from the Bible.

Margie is survived by her sons, Ronald Worley, Robert Worley, Jon Worley, and Gary Seiple; daughter, Marnie Tyson; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and Speckles, her cat.

She was “Mom” to many, many more, as her dream was to have a home that any child could call home, especially if they were struggling. It kept the house full and busy, just like she liked it.

Margie was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Worley, grandchild, Jasey Rae Seiple, and great-grandchild, Octavia Tyson.

Margie’s family has requested that contributions in her memory be made to Covenant House Pennsylvania (https://www.covenanthousepa.org/), Hospice of Central Pennsylvania (https://hospiceofcentralpa.org), or Jehovah’s Witness (https://www.jw.org/en/).

Rest in peace, Margie. You will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved you.

Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown, is honored to serve the family.
