Mary E. Oliver, 62, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Terry G. Oliver of Lebanon. They celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in April.
Born in Leroy on November 19, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Audrey (Dunn) and Charles W. Swain, Sr.
Mary graduated from Canton High School with the Class of 1978, and she went on to Williamsport University to get her nursing degree. Mary worked as an LPN for 44 years, her most recent employment was at Spring Creek Rehabilitation center & Cedar Haven. She enjoyed going on vacation, going to TN, the beach, shopping, and bingo. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons Terry J. husband of Terri Oliver of Myerstown, Steven T. Oliver of Lebanon, and Justin C. Oliver of Lebanon; daughters Natalie S. wife of Scott Piotrowski of Lebanon, Melissa L. Oliver of Jonestown, and Sabrina L. Oliver of Cressona; grandchildren Nicholas, Nathan, Randy, Noah, Elizabeth, Emma, Chloe, Rowan, Tristan, and Delilah; brother Pete Swain of Granville; and sister Susan Swain of Troy.
There will be a viewing on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.
