Michael Robert Noonan, known to friends as “Mike,” passed away on April 18, 2020 at the age of 34 in Frederick, Maryland.
Born Friday, July 12, 1985 in Takoma Park, MD, Michael was native of Urbana, Maryland. He was a 2003 graduate of Urbana High School and a member of IBEW Local 26. Michael was a loving father and a lifelong Washington Redskins fan. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, snowboarding and spending time outdoors. Picking crabs by the pool with family and friends was a particular favorite pastime of Michael’s.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Barbara, of Palmyra; a sister, Sarah M. Tillett (Joshua), of Palmyra; a daughter Madison Noonan (mother, Brittney Kadezabek); step sons Logan and Sean Johnson (mother, Meaghan Sims); his paternal grandmother, Juanita Noonan, as well as Michael’s extended family and caring friends. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Walter and Vivian Ambler, paternal grandfather, James Noonan and his uncle, William Noonan.
Private services will be held at a date yet to be determined. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078.
In lieu of flowers, a trust has been established for the benefit of Michael’s daughter, Madison. Funds will be used for her education and other expenses.
