Richard F. Wolfe, Sr., 80, of Myerstown, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at his home. He was the loving husband of Jacqueline A. Snyder Wolfe. On May 27th, they would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary.
Born in Lebanon on July 6, 1942, he was the son of the late John H. and Evelyn Starry Wolfe.
For 20 years, he worked as a casting finisher at Lebanon Steel Foundry, and he then retired from San Giorgio after 17 years of service. Richard enjoyed woodworking and fishing, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandsons. He was always willing to help anyone that was in need.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Richard F. Wolfe Jr., and his wife, Melody, of Lebanon; daughter, Stephanie L. Brooks-Wolfe, wife of Rory, of Lebanon; brothers, John H. Wolfe, Jr., Raymond, Ronald, David, and Bryan Wolfe, all of Lebanon, Robert Wolfe, of Newmanstown, and Stephen Wolfe; sisters, Patricia Hostetter, of York, Evelyn Miller, of Lebanon, Lorraine Mark, of Palmyra, Gladys Guare, of Annville, Shirley Reddinger, of TN, and Violet Peters, of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Richard F. Wolfe, III, Mitchel Shuey, and Michael Shuey; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Marion Reppert.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park, N. Annville Twp.
